2020 Winter in Yellowstone - Jan 19 - Jan 25
Yellowstone is an amazing adventure in winter. Snow laden valleys and bright blue skies provide the perfect backdrop to search for wolves, bison, elk, coyotes, moose, foxes and big horn sheep. The park is quieter in winter and the animals are active. The dramatic landscapes of Yellowstone are enhanced by the rugged winter conditions creating unique photography opportunities. Our tour will focus on wildlife while also including some of the most pristine and photographic locations for landscapes as requested. Curt and Stacy Howell will be leading the tour, providing instruction in the field and photo processing in the evenings if wanted. We love Yellowstone and want to make sure you have the best experience possible. We will strive to set you up in the best possible locations for wildlife and landscapes while respecting the boundaries that wildlife deserves to not harass or encroach upon them. There are times we have waded through thigh high snow to get a picture, please be advised that this tour might include this sort of activity. If you are unable to do this type of activity, you will be able to remain on a packed surface as this is not a requirement.
